For the second year running, Quadratek will be supporting Crisis to ensure homeless people can enjoy not only a hot Christmas dinner in a warm, safe, and welcoming environment but making sure they receive:
- An initial assessment and companionship
- Medical and optician checks
- New clothes
- Someone to talk to and help with mental health
- Courses, training, and CV writing
- Help finding safe, affordable housing, and support with paying rent and bills
- Support to leave homelessness behind through Crisis’ year-round services
Facts
Crisis at Christmas 2018:
- 4,676 guests were served hot meals and received the necessary checks and advice
- 35,957 meals were served
- 778 health checks took were carried out
- 1,547 beds were provided
- 787 advice session took place
- None of this would have been possible without the 12,300 volunteers who helped out over the festive period
